Following the latest policy updates in the Seller Center, TikTok Shop is strengthening its enforcement against substandard product quality and brand misrepresentation. The platform is deploying automated systems to detect “brand circumvention”—the practice of using altered spellings, special characters, or spaces to bypass brand authorization.

Concurrently, merchants with consistently high negative customer feedback (VoC Index) face immediate listing suppression. Sellers must audit their product titles and metadata to ensure precise brand alignment, as failure to comply will result in automated listing takedowns or permanent restrictions on brand selling privileges.
